Equator Mark / Islet of Rolas

We begin our journey in the capital of São Tomé and head south along the island’s east coast. After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, we arrive at the southern tip of the island, at the beach resort of Praia Inhame.

From there, we take a 30-minute boat transfer to the Islet of Rolas.

Upon arrival, we relax at the famous Café Beach, a perfect spot to unwind before lunch.

Lunch is served right on the beach, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of São Tomé Island.

After lunch, we take a short 20-minute walk to the Equator Mark, where you can stand with one foot in each hemisphere.

For those interested, there is an optional 2-hour walk along the coast of the islet, where you can explore fascinating blowholes and enjoy stunning ocean views.

At around 3:00 PM, we return to São Tomé Island by boat. Following another 2h30 journey, we arrive back in the capital.
