Coffee Plantation of Monte Cafe

This tour takes us up into the mountains, reaching an altitude of 800m, where the air is fresh and clean.

At Pousada da Boa Vista, we will have the view of the city of São Tomé, weather permitting.

From here, we can reach the São Nicolau waterfall after a 45-minute walk through the secondary rainforest.

At the waterfall, we will enjoy a cup of coffee accompanied by a local sweet.

We will then descend to the Monte Café plantation, which historically exported high-quality coffee worldwide.

At the plantation, we will take a guided tour of the coffee museum, discovering the plantation's history and its key role in the nation's success as a major coffee exporter.
